"Ok , why are you doing this again?" Dean said rolling his eyes, thinking Sam couldn't be serious. The Trust Exercise? I mean… did it look like they were in summer camp?

"Because Dean..." Sam paused for a minute trying to think of a way to say what he was thinking without sounding like a girl. "…we need to rebuild the trust in our relationship.”
"You’re such a girl." Dean muttered under his breath. Sam pretended he didn't hear him.

"What'd you say?"

"I said....forget it. Why exactly would this help us do that, Dr. Phil?" Dean was not making this easy and Sam felt like he had been trying to convince his brother to do this exercise all night. Sam wasn't even sure why he wanted them to try it so bad. What would it really change, anyway?

Sam hadn’t noticed he didn't answer Dean.

"Huh… hello? I said, why would this help?" Sam's persistence was making Dean wonder why it was so important, but Sam's answer wasn't all that convincing.

"Because... because....I don’t know… I read it in a book. Just get over here!"

Dean shook his head. "You and your books." He gave in and walked over to Sam and stood there facing him. "Now what?"

Sam had explained the whole thing to Dean earlier but clearly he hadn't had his full attention. Dean was eating at the time, so Sam should have known better.

"Turn around." Sam waited.

"I don’t like where this is going."

He should have seen that joke coming. "Just turn around."

Dean huffed and turned around.

"Put your hands across your chest, close your eyes and repeat what I told you to say earlier." Dean did what Sam said, becoming more and more annoyed by the fact that he has doing this exercise.

"This is so dumb."

"Dean, just say it." Dean took a moment to remember what Sam had told him to say earlier. It was something about being ready. While he was thinking of what he was suppose to say, Dean’s mind wandered to his happy place.

"I’m ready....for pie."

Sam sucked his teeth and whined like he was a little kid.

"DEAN!"

"Okay ,okay.." Dean decided to just get it over with "I’m ready to fall. Are you ready to catch me...bitch?" He couldn't resist adding that last bit.

Sam smirked and said his part. "I’m ready to catch you... jerk. Fall away." What happened after that was easier than either of them thought. Dean fell and Sam caught him. After Sam lifted him back up there was an awkward silence, which Dean soon broke.

"Well, that was lame."

"Yeah, I guess." Sam felt kind of embarrassed for a moment. He wasn't sure what he expected Dean to say, but he know what he wanted to say even though it was a total violation of the 'no chick flick moment' rule

"Thanks for trusting me."

Dean was surprised, sad and a number of other emotions that he didn't even know you could feel all at once. Trust use to be a given with them, not something you had to thank the other for. It just.... was.

"Yeah… well, huh.... thanks for catching me. You know I'd kicked your ass if you didn't, right?"

Sam laughed. "Yeah, yeah."

He was about to walk away, not wanting to annoy Dean more then he already had but then he stopped him.

"Hey, isn't it supposed to be your turn now? I mean, isn't that how it works?"

Sam grimaced, wondering if Dean was just messing with him. "I thought you said it was lame?"

Dean tried to be nonchalant. "Dude, it is lame. But if you’re going to force me to do lameness, you got to do the same . I'll just try not to tip over catching you Sasquatch."

Sam tried to hide the smirk on his face and just nodded. "Hilarious."

Sam walked over and stood in front of Dean. "I’m ready to fall."
